What is on your gratitude list?

Hello,

As the year comes to an end, I challenge you to take an hour of your time to list what you can be grateful for. It seems as if it has been a tough year for most of the people I have worked with in a personal and a professional capacity. When our day-to-day lives are not living up to our plans or expectations it is so easy to get caught up in what we do not have, what we have not achieved or who we have not became. We often forget about the small successes along the way when chasing the big picture. However, if you focus on the positives, you will be amazed at how long your gratitude list can be.  Here are some simple and real examples to help you on your way:

  • Your health
  • Your home
  • Your supportive friends and family
  • Your  secure job
  • Your happy children
  • Your loving partner
  • The diagnosis you received that was treatable
  • Your personal development
  • ….over to your thoughts…

Choose to be aware of the good in your life and use this energy to power you into the New Year. Use this time, to say thank-you to the people who have made a difference in your life. Use this time to thank yourself for another year of life, love and laughter.

And next year’s words await another voice

And to make an end is to make a beginning”
